What is Optigle?

A: Optigle is a front for Google. It will give you existing technical Google features in a easy practical interface to enhance your search experience.

Why Optigle?

A: Optigle uses Google to get results and uses all the good from the searchengine to get you speedy and accurate results. Besides this Optigle gives you the opportunity to filter the results beforehand.

How does it work?

A: Extremely easy, just enter your query as always. If you don't like the sites that are presented just add them to your personal filter and the will be omitted the next time you run a query.

There already websites in a default filter, why?

A: These have been inserted as a startingpoint for you. Adding sites yourself will make your Personal filter available. In the future I plan to add filtergroups. These shoud be easily selectable in some kind of multi-selection method so you can combine large groups of urls.
NOTE: there probably is a limit to the number of sites, this depends on a few factors. More on that later...

How does this help me?

A: That depends, in most countries there are sites hogging all the results and clutter your resultset. This forces you to browse numeral resultpages to find your goal. For example; secondhand merchandise websites generate enormous amounts of links every day which clutter the internet. If you would query something like 'bookcase' you will probably get a lot of results from sites like this. Optigle is the tool to filter these websites.

I don't see adds, what's the deal with that?

A: No adds, that is correct. For now I do not plan to let them through. In the near future I will tune up the resultsdisplay and other stuff, so maybe I will make the adds optional.

Where does the name come from?

A: The 'Opti' part is coming from 'Optimizing' or 'Optimal' whilst the 'gle' part is meant to associate the name with Google and let you use it as a verb. Like "Did you Optigle the info you gave me?".
